Be faithful with things that belong to others and you will obtain what is yours !

Hello [user:firstname | default:Beloved],

Today I would like to share the testimony of sister Maïmouna of the Vases d’Honneur church:

“My name is Maïmouna. I studied foreign languages (English, Spanish and Chinese) and I lived in the Canary Islands. When I was little, I dreamt of working for a big African or International Institution. After I finished school, I returned to Abidjan where I met Jesus. I gave Him the wheels over my life.

I stayed unemployed for a year. During that time, my mother had a restaurant and needed someone she could trust to manage it. Honestly, I had no desire to work there. I was telling myself that my dream had not yet come true but still, that was not a reason for me to start working for a restaurant either. I also knew that if I agreed to take the job, I could not expect a good salary.

One day, while talking to a sister at church, she encouraged me to accept helping my mother and she reminded me that the Bible says in Luke 16:12And if you have not been faithful in what is another man’s, who will give you what is your own?”. I understood that the Lord was using her to talk to me. I thus accepted to help my mother at the restaurant.

Every morning, I would rise  wholelightheartedly, motivated, happy to go to work as though I were doing it for myself. The Lord would often give me ideas that contributed to increasing our client base and everything was going great.

Two months later, at the request of a friend, I went to a casting for a comedy part. And in that company, there was a trainer that told me: “do you know that you look like an Aartistic Ddirector?” The following morning when I returned, they told me that I had been appointed as the new Aartistic Ddirector. Just like that, without even submitting a resume for the positionit or applying for it. In just three months, I saw my salary triple and I know that I will go from glory to glory. I give thanksglory to the Lord.”

Edifying testimony, isn’t it?

Beloved, know that for God to give you what He promised you, He is waiting for you to be faithful to what belongs to someone else. Faithfulness is the diligent behavior, devotion, and loyalty with which you work on activities that belong to someone else.

You have degrees but for example, you find yourself being a phone operator, salesperson or cleaner. ? God will observe the seriousness with which you do this work. Do you desire to be a parent? Then, take care of the children of others as though they were yours and you will know the joy of childbearing! You want to be your own boss? Be faithful then to the company you currently work for. Are Yyou are called to become the Pastor of a big church? Serve God faithfully under the Pastor whose church you currently attend!

Even if this job or this task is giving you a bad salary (or even if you volunteer) or the boss is ungrateful, bless God who placed you there. Work diligently, be excellent, on time, doing it for the Lord. He is the rewarder of faith and will then open the gates of your destiny.

You see, our sister Maïmouna was faithful as the manager of her mother’s restaurant and God gave her the job of Artistic Director in a company. Beloved, be faithful with what belongs to others, God will give you what belongs to you. Be faithful with small things, God will entrust you with great ones!

May God bless you [user:firstname | default:Beloved]
