Believe in the power of your prayer !

Hello Beloved,

“The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly”, says the Bible in John 10:10. Many born-again Christians have obtained life, salvation, by receiving Jesus Christ in their lives as their Lord and Savior (if you have not yet taken this step, I promptly invite you to do so). But how many among them manifest the abundant life of which John 10: 10 speaks ? Very few unfortunately ! Look around you: the world, under the power of the evil one and the devil, that the Bible calls “the thief” in the main scripture of this day, sows only desolation and misery among humans. It is to counteract this destructive work that Christ came to accomplish his work of salvation.

The Lord has come so that you may have life and be in abundance so as not to suffer from the plan of the enemy who is to steal, kill and destroy. But this abundant life is uniquely the portion of the sheep of the Lord, according to John 10:10. A sheep that obeys his shepherd and lets Him lead it, lacks absolutely nothing, as written in Psalm 23. Obedience to the precepts of the Lord is the main key to abundant life. Docility is precisely what characterizes a sheep. In Isaiah 1: 19 it is written “If you are willing and obedient, you shall eat the good of the land”. Manifesting abundant life goes beyond obtaining material goods. It impacts every area of life, the spirit, soul and body. Moreover, if this life of God overflows, it must be able to impact the lives of people around you.

Apostle Paul had abundant life in him. Although he was bitten by a viper, as he was picking the bundle of sticks to make fire, all he did was just shake his hand for the snake to fall into the fire. He felt no harm because the life of God in him had extirpated the venom ! The abundant life in him overflowed and had an impact on his environment “so that even handkerchiefs or aprons were brought from his body to the sick, and the diseases left them and the evil spirits went out of them ” (Acts 19:12). Didn’t the woman who had bled 12 years get healed just by touching the helm of Jesus’ garment (Matthew 9:20-22) ? Jesus did not only have life, He is life !

Beloved, you must manifest abundant life ! This should not be a wishful thinking or a slogan but a fact. Do you know that if you have abundant life, a patient can, for example, lie on your bed and get healed ? If you are a tailor or a seamstress, the life of God in you can cause your customers to give their lives to the Lord just because they will have worn the clothes you sew. If the life of God abounds in you, it must have an impact on your environment, that is: on the lives of your colleagues, friends, family, neighbors, etc.

So, Beloved, be a docile and obedient sheep that allows the Good Shepherd to lead it, in order to lack nothing. Be in abundance also, and let your cup run over to the point of impacting many lives around you, for the glory of God !
