Do not trust the flesh for any decision, rather pray earnestly !

Hello Beloved,

There may have been choices you had to make in the past, decisions and commitments you had to make that you bitterly regret today because you did not take the time to pray and seek the face of God to get His go-ahead. It is written in Isaiah 31:1 “Woe to those who go down to Egypt for help, and rely on horses, who trust in chariots because they are many, and in horsemen because they are very strong, but who do not look to the Holy One of Israel, nor seek the Lord!” You must seek the face of God before you commit yourself to anything. Didn’t the Lord Jesus pray all night to choose his disciples (Luke 6:12-13)? Despite this, Judah was still able to find his way among His disciples!

For example, if God wants to elevate you financially, the enemy will always send you bad business partners.  Don’t let yourself be dazzled by the profits they will promise you, don’t trust the beauty of the business plan, not even the sincerity of the person in front of you, do not trust the flesh!  Do not trust the multitude of chariots or the strength of horsemen, says the Word of God to you! Even if many have invested in the same business and succeeded, don’t trust it! Seek again and again the face of God. Seek the voice of your heavenly Father to give you the green light!

What decision are you about to make? Is it an employee you want to hire in your company? Is it a partner you’re about to choose for marriage? Is it a school for your child? Is this a trip you want to take? Is it a new field for your studies? Is it an activity you would like to organize in your ministry or in your church? Is it a great property that you want to buy (house, car)? Is this help you want to seek from a third party? Don’t rush into it!

“…Cursed is the man who trusts in man, and makes flesh his strength, whose heart departs from the Lord.” says the Bible in Jeremiah 17:5.When you feel that your flesh is getting excited to push you to make a choice quickly, take a step back lest your flesh take over and silence the voice of the Spirit of God in you. Calm down and don’t let yourself be seduced by the flesh, don’t trust it.   Take the time to try to hear the voice of your God before you commit yourself. He will tell you what to do, when to do it, with whom to do it, etc. (Psalm 32:8).

If you had to make a bad choice in any situation, don’t feel guilty.  These things happen to everyone, including me. Repent ans believe in God’s mercy. Know that God forgives you and He will give you back what you have lost, He will get you out of trouble, He will restore you. He is able to change evil for good. He is faithful to give you grace and lead you back on the right path.

May God bless you Beloved
