LEAVE EGYPT TO ENTER CANAAN!

Hello Beloved,

When God brought Israel out of Egypt, He led His people into the desert, fed them with manna and finally led them to Canaan, the Promised Land where Israel was able to experience superabundant provision and the fulfillment of divine promises. Many people do not see their obstinate situations being resolved, and rather believe they are living through a persistent desert crossing. However, this is not the case: quite simply, they have never, in reality, left Egypt, spiritually speaking! These people go to church, claim to pray to the Lord but are still slaves to sin and live permanently in iniquity!

Such as a sister calling herself a Christian yet mistreating her husband’s child.  A brother calling himself a Christian yet falsifying the figures of the company in which he works. Another person is married yet deceiving his or her spouse; others call themselves Christian yet enjoy lying, cheating, duplicity, masturbation, drunkenness, fornication, hatred, jealousy, anger, wickedness, corruption, etc. Despite this life, these people pray every day, expecting to receive all kinds of blessings from God and complaining that nothing works in their lives. ”                 Now we know that God does not hear sinners; but if anyone is a worshiper of God and does His will, He hears him“, says the Bible in John 9:31.

Let me to tell you the testimony of one of my spiritual daughters: she had accepted to give her life to Christ, had been baptized and was taking the HOLY COMMUNION.  She even served in the church… in short, she gave the image of the model Christian but in reality she was living a life of sin. Among other things, she had a boyfriend with whom she lived in fornication without it bordering her faith. She had many challenges for which she prayed, particularly reuniting with her parents in Europe, without success. One day, while participating in a program of the Church Vases d’honneur, one of the invited Pastors spoke to her on behalf of the Lord and asked her to change her lifestyle. Unhappy to receive such a message, she wanted to reject it. But the Holy Spirit challenged her and when she returned to herself, she finally accepted. She then repented, broke off all relationship with her boyfriend and made the decision to start a new life of sanctification with the Lord. Shortly afterwards, the Lord visited her, she experienced a turnaround in her situation! She was able to get the visa, with a plane for which she longed so much for and eventually joined her parents. God’s overabundant grace in her life even affected her family.  After her repentance, her parents were able to meet up with the many challenges they faced, especially at the professional level.

Beloved, are you really converted? Do you walk in obedience with the Word of God? Or do you live in sin and iniquity, calling yourself a child of God? If you are born again, glory to the Lord! Continue your walk with Christ and seek every day to please the Lord more and more. Even if, in your Christian life, you are going through a difficult situation, know that when you leave the desert, you will gloriously enter into your “Canaan”. But if you know, in your soul and conscience, that you live in iniquity, repent, turn away from this life that risks losing your soul!

Beloved, do not forget that repentance is not only in words but requires that you to take concrete action by turning away from evil. He who covers his sins will not prosper, but whoever confesses and forsakes them will have mercy“, says the Word of God (Proverbs 28:13). Mercy is for those who forsake the sin in which they have wallowed until then. God is ready to welcome you as the father did in the story of the prodigal son in Luke 15:11-24. This son got new appearances and a fattened calf!

Leave Egypt so that God can bring you into Canaan!  Change your life, leave this place or this life where God is not! Accept the hand that He is extending to you and follow Him in His ways. You will then have victory over your challenges and see His glory!

May God bless you!
