Overcome failures and persistent shortcomings !

Overcome failures and persistent shortcomings !

Hello [user:firstname | default:Beloved],

When I was younger, I had certain shortcomings that persisted even after I gave my life to Jesus: I had no self-confidence, I was very hesitant, I could not complete what I began. All these shortcomings resulted from certain problems I had in my childhood. My body also had recurring aches . Understanding the powerful truth of 1 Peter 1: 23 radically changed me.

In the French version, this scripture says that we have been “regenerated”; that is born again. “Regenerating” means reprogramming, transforming, renewing a gene, giving back its lost qualities. Genes are the parts of the cell nucleus of the body that carries and transmits hereditary characters. The genes of the nose, the lips, the complexion … all these characters, present in the body of your father or your mother were transmitted to you by the genes. A gene therefore refers to a character, positive or negative, that is very persistent and that can be transmitted from generation to generation.

I will dwell today on the persistent shortcomings, rooted in  human nature. These defects may relate to character ( laziness, pride, anger, shyness, etc.) or to diseases (diabetes, sickle cell, hypertension, etc.).

You cannot remain irritable when Christ gives you His peace and gentleness. You cannot remain shy when you’ve received a Spirit of Strength. You cannot be constantly sick when Jesus has healed you on the cross.

How are you going to triumph over these things? I’ll ask you to do an exercise this week and forever. You will thus succeed in triumphing over these shortcomings, because Christ in you must be manifested totally.

To begin with, here’s the first thing to do: Identify these shortcomings, these weaknesses and pick -two for this week; such as shyness and the flu, in a recurrent manner. What does the Word of God say about these two weaknesses? The Bible says that God did not give us a spirit of fear or shyness but rather a spirit of strength, of boldness (2 Timothy 1: 7). This is a living word but you must now declare it permanently so that it produces regeneration in you. So, declare: “I am strong! I am the winner! I have divine boldness inside of me! “. Are you going to say it only today and tomorrow? No! You must say it permanently so that it produces regeneration and for you to have the victory!

Concerning your health, the Bible says that you have been healed by the bruises of Christ. You must repeat it constantly and you will see this recurring disease disappear!

Let us take some examples of the Bible: Simon, the disciple of Jesus, was constantly. He was not firm in his decisions. Let’s remember his willingness to walk on the water to reach Jesus, which almost ended in tragedy (Matthew 14: 28-31), or his promise not to deny Jesus, which  He did not keep (Matthew 26:35).

To succeed in transforming Simon, Jesus applied a strategy that proved to be an effective and radical therapy: He gave him the name of ‘Peter’ (Rock). The characteristics of the stone is solidity, stability, and it evokes the rock. The Word was alive: “You shall be called Peter”; and the Word became permanent also because it was recurrent, constantly repeated by all those who called Peter: “Peter, Peter, Peter …” (solid, solid, solid). After Pentecost, he who had denied Jesus three times, this same man, overcame his timidity, shame and fear, and preached Jesus Christ to a crowd of more than 3,000 people! What changed him? It’s the recurring, permanent word!

God did the same to Abram, who had no children, and named him Abraham; which means Father of a multitude, father of many children. So, he was called all the time “Abraham, Abraham” (father of many children, father of many children). He eventually became the father of Isaac and all of Israel. The living and permanent Word that Peter and Abraham heard ended up transforming them right into their genes.

Perhaps after you have confessed the truth of the Word of God, you will still catch the flu or you will still stumble over shyness. Do not be discouraged. Keep the truth of the Word and you will see the evil that has slyly infiltrated your body, being totally expelled from your genes, and the divine life of Christ, acquired forever by His resurrection, will produce regeneration in you. This is how I proceeded and was able to triumph over the persistent shortcomings. I have been totally transformed and I can live and manifest Christ in me.

Do not forget, pick two weaknesses this week and do this exercise. In the following weeks, you will choose other ones and so on. You will see the victory of Christ manifested!

Let us pray: “Father, through the power of your Holy Spirit, enable me be connected to Your living and permanent Word so that I may be regenerated and fully manifest Christ. I want to succeed in this exercise by Your grace and be totally transformed. I ask thee in the name of Jesus, amen!”.
