You have surely read the story of the ruler of the synagogue named Jairus (Luke 8: 41-42, 49-55). The Bible tells us that he asked Jesus to come to the bedside of his dying 12-year-old daughter. On the way, a large crowd surrounded the Lord and pressed around him. Then Jaïrus was told, “Your daughter is dead; do not trouble the Teacher”. However, Jesus’ reaction to this information was surprising: “Do not weep; she is not dead, but sleeping ”.
Doesn’t the Bible tell that Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Life (John 14: 6) and that Satan is a liar and the father of lies (John 8:44) ? In fact, Jairus’ daughter was dead, but for Jesus who is the Truth, it was a lie to be rejected. When He said that the girl was sleeping, He was telling the truth, even though the fact was that the girl’s body was dead. But because it was contrary to the truth of Christ, it was a lie. ” Let God be true but every man a liar,” says the Bible in Romans 3 : 4.
Every word, contrary to Jesus’ declarations concerning us, is pure lie. Did the doctor tell you that you have an incurable disease ? Consider this from the depths of your heart as a lie of the Evil One. By the stripes of Jesus, you were healed !!! (1 Peter 2:24) Does the accuser call you a sinner because you often stumble in your Christian walk ? Know that you are freed from sin and bear the fruit of holiness (Romans 6:22). Has the enemy made you believe that God has lied to you because the promise is delaying ? No, he is the liar, not your God ! Your Lord remains faithful to His promises (Hebrews 10:23).
Some time ago, a brother was diagnosed with prostate cancer. After hearing the Word of God, he rejected the diagnosis, prayed and proclaimed that he was in good health. He then did further examinations and there were no more traces of illness ! Hallelujah !
“ Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me, “says the Lord Jesus in John 14: 1. Above all, do not be troubled by the situation you are living in, which is contrary to what God has promised you. Read the Word of God. Search and lean on the scriptures that make up the Truth about you and do not doubt. Repeat constantly the Truth of the Word of God concerning you and reject the lies of the Evil One. Thus, the words of Christ will come to life so that your reality will be in conformity with the truth.
