Rise before dawn to conquer new territories !

Hello Beloved,

In my exhortation today, I would like to give you one of the secrets to conquer new territories.  To conquer your heritage, it is important for you to develop your prayer life. But the prayer of conquest is done at a particular time: before sunrise, early in the morning!

There are, indeed, things that you can only obtain if you do get up early to pray. When Moses had to meet Pharaoh to ask him to free the people of Israel, he would get up early to meet him. “Rise early in the morning and stand before Pharaoh as he comes out to the water. Then say to him, ‘Thus says the LORD: “Let My people go, that they may serve Me,” says the Bible in Exodus 8:20. It was therefore not Moses who woke Pharaoh from his sleep, for he too would get up early get prepared for his day. It was therefore important for Moses not to be distracted by sleep.  He too had to be strategic in the morning to face the enemy of God’s people.  Similarly, to face Ai, one of Israel’s enemies, Joshua had to get up early in the morning to number the people and march against Ai (Joshua 8:10).

”Now in the morning, having risen a long while before daylight, He went out and departed to a solitary place; and there He prayed“, Mark 1:35 tells us. If Jesus the Master did so to prepare His day for conquest of souls and His times of preaching, who are we (you and I) not to imitate Him in order to conquer our heritage?

We have seen it above: Pharaoh would get up early to prepare his day. His objective was to prevent the Israelites from leaving Egypt to return to the Promised Land. “ The murderer rises with the light; He kills the poor and needy; And in the night he is like a thief”, it is written in Job 24:14. It is in the middle of the night that the enemy seeks to counter the righteous. Being awake at the same time enable Christians to anticipate and thwart his bad intentions.

 To conquer new territories, you have to rise before dawning! “ I rise before the dawning of the morning, And cry for help; I hope in Your word,” said the Psalmist (Psalm 119:147). Illness disrupts your body and your health is a territory to conquer? Rise before dawn! Do you want to conquer the territory of a new job or a new activity? Rise before dawn! Do you want to fight the spiritual opponents who prevent you from getting married or enjoying marital happiness? Wake up at dawn to pray! Do you want to grow your business but face predators in your chosen field? Get up early in the morning, while it is still dark, to pray! Whatever territory you want to conquer, do not sleep until sunrise to pray at that time. Get up and be awake at the opening of the day to open the doors that are closed to you!

“ Let us know, Let us pursue the knowledge of the LORD. His going forth is established as the morning; He will come to us like the rain, Like the latter and former rain to the earth“, it is written in Hosea 6:3. Know that the goodness of the Lord is renewed every morning (Lamentations 3:23).

So, Beloved, imitate Christ and wake up regularly in the middle of the night to pray. You will find it easier to conquer new territories. God is faithful and you will see His glory!
