Rise up and pray for your C-O-N-Q-U-E-S-T!

Hello Beloved,

In Mark 1:35-38, the Bible tells us that the Lord Jesus had set a program that day to go out to conquer souls. But He took time to prepare this in prayer.

To conquer your inheritance, you need to develop your prayer life. In my exhortation today, I would like to tell you about eight characteristics that you need to display in your prayer in order to conquer new territories in several areas of your life. I have grouped these characteristics together under the word CONQUEST.

C as in (divine) Conscience: To conquer, you must become aware of who you are. You are no ordinary person. If you have received Jesus in your life as your Lord and Savior, you are son/daughter of God as John 1:12 states. Christ, in the Our Father’s prayer, urges you earnestly to call God your Father and to realize that He is in heavenly heights (Luke 11:2a). Be aware that God is your Father, the whole universe belongs to Him and nothing escapes His control. Being conscious of the fact that you are a son/a daughter of God gives you the assurance that whatever you ask the Father in prayer, He will give it to you, you will lack for nothing and the supernatural will be your portion!

O as in Opening (of the day): To conquer new souls, the Lord Jesus rose up early in the morning, while it was still dark, to go and pray (Mark 1:35). To conquer your inheritance, rise up before the sunrise (Psalm 119:147), be in prayer at the moment of the opening of the day to strike down your enemies and conquer what you are looking for!

N as in (spiritual) Nakedness: If you want to conquer, you must bare yourself before God. Approach Him with an unveiled face, exposed (2 Corinthians 3:18), humble yourself before His face with a sincere heart and you will see His glory!

Q as in Quest (of God): in prayer, seek the face of God. It is “the glory of God to conceal a matter, but the glory of kings is to search out a matter” (Proverbs 25:2). Seek to understand the reason for things, ask the Father to reveal to you the solutions to the problems of the people around you and you will thus be able to win victories.

U as in Union or Unity (with others): “Our Father in heaven” and not “my Father in heaven”, said the Lord Jesus when he taught us to pray (Matthew 6:9). Do not think of yourself only in prayer. Think and refer to people who have the same challenges as you. Also seek prayer partners and agree to pray for your common projects. The conquest will be fruitful (Matthew 18:19)!

E as in (spiritual) Energy: You need energy, zeal, passion in your prayers to take possession of your territory. Indeed, the Bible says that “the kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by force” (Matthew 11:12).  Be determined, pray earnestly to conquer your inheritance (Luke 18:1-8).

S as in Spirit (the Holy Spirit): You cannot conquer without the Lord (John 15:5c). “Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit” (Zechariah 4:6b). Only the Holy Spirit can help you in the conquest of your inheritance. Seek His fullness, seek His presence in prayer and you will receive the supernatural capacity to conquer (Psalm 2:8)!

T as in Throne (of grace): It is through divine grace and mercy that you can conquer. To counter the many accusations and claims of the devil who wants to prevent you from conquering, seek God’s grace and mercy (Hebrews 4:16).  Reject bitterness because it deprives you of grace. Forgive and be merciful also to your neighbour and you will see the glory of God in the conquest of your inheritance!

So, Beloved, what do you want to conquer? New souls for the Lord? New branches for your company? New customers? Marriage? Children? A better job? Divine health? Deliverance? Whatever the subject, pray, pray and pray! Apply these things and you will see the glory of God in your C-O-N-Q-U-E-S-T!

May God bless you Beloved
