SAY NO WEARINESS, CONFESS YOUR VICTORY !

Good morning [subscriber:firstname | default:Beloved],

Almost everyone received a flurry of words of blessings, wishes and greetings of all kinds at the beginning of the year 2022. But many Christians feel weary when they face stubborn situations and find it difficult to receive with faith the words of blessing that were spoken over their lives. Some have been looking for a stable job or funding, healing, marriage, childbirth, peace in the home, etc. but the wait is so long that they become weary. “Heavenly Father, when is my turn? ”, they say in their prayers.

In 1 Kings 19:4, Elijah said: “… It’s enough! Now, Lord, take my life, for I am no better than my fathers!” This hero who had just won a challenge against 400 prophets of Baal by bringing down fire through the arm of the Lord of hosts; this hero who had just put the prophets of Baal to the sword, became discouraged in front of Jezebel’s threat to kill him, and asked God for death.

As you can see, even champions get weary when faced with certain circumstances in life. Weariness leads many of God’s children into a state of dejection and discouragement. When the enemy fails to make you fall into his various traps, he uses the weapon of weariness against you to prevent you from possessing your inheritance. He sends you negative information and thoughts to harm you. Do not fall into this last trap! Weariness may occur after you have, like Elijah, won one or more victories. For example, you prayed for a long time to be able to get married and once you get married, childbirth doesn’t come easily. You have to fight again against barrenness. And that is when the enemy injects into you the “virus of weariness”. Know one thing: it becomes intense when you are on the verge of victory!

“And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.”, the Bible advises in Galatians 6:9. This verse of the Holy Scriptures is clear: one reaps if and only if one does not slacken!

How can we avoid growing weary? “Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall, but those who wait on the Lord  shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.”, your heavenly Father tells you in Isaiah 40:30-31. Indeed, the Holy Scriptures say in Isaiah 40:29: “He gives power to the weak, and to those who have no might He increases strength.. Trust in Him and you will overcome discouragement, He will renew your faith in Him, and you will find the strength to persevere in prayer, relentlessly, until you obtain victory.

Believe in your victory and confess it (Romans 10:9)!  “Let the weak say, ‘I am strong”, Joël 3 :10b) ! Your God gives you the strength of a wild ox and showers you with fresh oil (Psalms 92:10).

The year 2022 is a year of favour, a year of grace in which God will give you the opportunity to conquer new territories in various fields of life. So look to Him and He will give you, in His love and faithfulness, the strength to go forward, until you achieve it.

May God bless you!
