There are names on earth that paralyze you when you hear them. Names like AIDS, cancer, divorce, long term celibacy, barrenness, unemployment, migraine, war, betrayal, laziness, weariness, death, etc., can make your faith unsteady or disturb your prayer life.
There are some names that can overcome others, such as paracetamol for migraine, chemotherapy for cancer, “transfer of 100 million CFA francs” for family expenses, ”marriage proposal” for celibacy, etc. These words or expressions are in fact solutions that can solve the other ones. It all depends on their value! However, some names or expressions do not seem to have, humanly speaking, names that surpass them and this can cause despair even among the most devoted Christians.
I have good news for you, Beloved: if from a human perspective, these names, which represent painful situations for your life, seem insurmountable to you, know that God, your heavenly Father, has definitively solved your problem by giving to his Son Jesus (who is your Lord and Savior), the name that is above any other name in the universe! “…Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth,” says the Bible in Philippians 2:10. Indeed, if you raise this name above the name of the situation that is currently disturbing you, know that it will bend its knees before the power of Jesus’ name. Your salvation will come from this one name: Jesus! (Acts 4:12).
So, as I told you in my exhortation last week, hallow the name of Jesus in your daily life by walking in accordance with the Word of God. Look to Him and you will not be confused. Raise this name above all that is bothering you and this situation will bend in the face of the power of Jesus’ name. Then you will see the glory of God!
May God bless you Beloved
