Who do you see ?

Who do you see ?

Hello [user:firstname | default:Beloved],

Isaiah 9: 2-6 “The people who walked in darkness Have seen a great light; Those who dwelt in the land of the shadow of death, Upon them a light has shined. You have multiplied the nation And increased its joy; They rejoice before You According to the joy of harvest, As men rejoice when they divide the spoil. For You have broken the yoke of his burden And the staff of his shoulder, The rod of his oppressor, As in the day of Midian… For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace..”

This passage of Isaiah is so powerful !!!

Certainly, a child is born but the gift of God for your deliverance, healing, light, is not the child but the Son. Yes, a child is certainly born, but as the scripture says, it is a Son who has been given to us. The gift of God for the salvation of humanity is the Son. That’s where all the nuance is !

Your perception of Christ will make all the difference. What meaning do you give to the coming of Jesus Christ on earth ?  Who do you see ? Do you just see a child in a manger or the Son who breaks your chains and enlightens you ? Are you in darkness ? Do you need lighting ? Is a sin, bond, yoke of any kind weighing on you ? You can triumph over all these yokes if you see Christ, the Son of God. Having the right revelation of Christ ensures victory. When Peter got it (Matthew 16: 16-19), right away Jesus not only promised him the keys of the kingdom of heaven, but also the total victory over every darkness. That is precisely what Isaiah 9: 2-6 speaks to you about. Darkness will no longer reign, the yoke is broken. Why? The reason for this victory is given in verse 6: « For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given ». Yes, beloved, God caused a child to be born, but for your healing and victory, He gave a Son. This is the real Christmas gift, the best ever.

On this Christmas day where men just celebrate the child and not the Son, I receive strongly in my heart and declare: « May the Lord grant you, during your worship time, a revelation of Christ that will give you victory».

So, should Christians celebrate this feast of pagan origin? This question often comes back to me every Christmas. Indeed, it is not a biblical holiday. However, all over the world on this day, people are thinking about Jesus and talking about Jesus. Even if this is not always the best way, this is nonetheless a powerful opportunity to present Christ. And it’s up to you to revisit this gift that God has given you and make Him known around you !

Luke 10: 22: All things have been delivered to Me by My Father, and no one knows who the Son is except the Father, and who the Father is except the Son, and the one to whom the Son wills to reveal Him.”.

May God bless you [user:firstname | default:Beloved]

 My Bible Scriptures

John 3 : 16

” For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life”.

      Matthew 16: 15-19

” He said to them, “But who do you say that I am?” Simon Peter answered and said, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.” Jesus answered and said to him, “Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but My Father who is in heaven. And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it. And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.”

.            1 John 4:9-10

” In this the love of God was manifested toward us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him. In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins”.

           John 6:29

”Jesus answered and said to them, “This is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He sent “.
