YOU NEED GOD’S GRACE!

YOU NEED GOD’S GRACE!

Hello [subscriber:firstname | default:Beloved],

I would like to take the opportunity, in this end of the year, to write to you about the need for God’s grace. But well before, let me ask you a question: why was Mary chosen to be the one through whom the Lord Jesus was to come into this world? Was it because she was the holiest of all the women on earth? Was it because she had never sinned in her life? Was it because she had asked the Lord to choose her? Or because she was the most submissive woman? Or was it because she had fasted and prayed for a long time? My answer may surprise you: none of that!

When we read the Word of God in Luke 1: 30-31, we find this: ” And Then the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God. And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bring forth a Son, and shall call His name Jesus.”. Yes, Mary was chosen simply because she had found favor in the eyes of God. She had no merit.

Grace is an undeserved favor. When God decides to give favor to a person, it does not correspond to any logic. It does not depend on any degree of holiness or the number of days of fasting or time of retreat or even hours of prayer. It is hardly a matter of merit. In His sovereignty, He is accountable to no one. He chooses whom He wants to grant His grace.

God bestowed His grace on Noah, and He saved him and his people from the flood that destroyed the rest of mankind. It was also divine grace that saved Lot and his daughters from the destruction of Sodom (Genesis 19:19).

At this time of the end of 2020, I pray to God that you will find grace in His eyes, a great grace (Acts 4:33). As I told you last week, it is by pure grace that the hand of God rests on you to make you experience the extraordinary divine.

Are you expecting to something special or many blessings for the year 2021? You need divine grace. It will make all the difference. And that is the reason why I urge you to come closer to the throne of grace to obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need (Hebrews 4: 16).

God bless you !
